Small and medium sized enterprises have long recognised this power - collaborating with each other in small groups to deliver a greater whole; looking out for the interests of each other because it is in all their interests for the combined capability to thrive. This is the essence of community. It is a deeply human drive and one reason social media has taken the web to another level. Smart corporates are also seeing the power of generalised reciprocity. Whether by sponsoring community or business hubs (such as bizchat) or by adopting pay it forward initiatives or principles, the power is released where it is understood, believed and embraced honestly. Then it is good karma.
